Environment and Sustainability Transformation Lead
At Pendennis, we are offering an exciting two+ year opportunity for an Environment and Sustainability Transformation Lead. Join our team to help drive sustainable practices in the superyacht industry.
Essential requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental /Sustainability, or equivalent
- Professional accreditation/certification in environmental management, or other relevant experience
- Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives including;
- Managing the development of Scope 1-3 greenhouse gas inventories
- Developing and implementing company wide ESG strategies
- Supply chain engagement and scope 3 emissions reduction strategies
- Strong analytical skills for assessing environmental impacts and proposing improvements
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management abilities to oversee the implementation of sustainable practices
- In-depth understanding of UK and international environmental regulations and reporting
Desirable requirements:
- Knowledge of superyacht construction processes and their environmental impact
- The ability to develop product level lifecycle assessment studies
As a key member of the management team, you will:
- Develop and lead Pendennis sustainability strategy
- Be confident in your ability to collaborate effectively and integrate sustainability into Pendennis processes
- Be able to identify and implement innovative solutions for reducing the environmental footprint of superyacht construction
- Be adaptable to evolving environmental policies and industry standards
- Ensure adherence to environmental standards, regulations, and best practices in all shipyard activities
- Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving environmental challenges in the shipbuilding process
- Be committed to advancing sustainable practices
