The return of the Pendennis Pub Quiz!

We had an amazing turnout for our pub quiz this week, an event for Pendennis staff and visiting yacht crew with some fundraising for good causes thrown in.

Thank you to all our teams for your enthusiastic participation, and raucous crowd energy during our charity games at half time…our ears are still ringing! Due to incredible generosity from everyone who attended, the Pendennis Charity Committee raised almost £500 for our charity of the year, Cornwall Hospice Care. A pledge from our Directors this year to double everything raised by the committee means the actual donation will be upped to £950!

Congratulations to the winning team who were from our Joinery department, with IT coming second and one of our yacht project teams in third. And further congratulations to all the raffle winners and the winner of our ever popular ‘Heads or Tails’ game.

Finally, a huge thank you to Fives for their hospitality and delicious pizzas.
