Trade support/Purchaser - Fabrication
The role involves:
Providing the Department lead support for the sourcing and pricing of trade related procurement, to ensure timely delivery of materials and obtain best value for money.
Reporting to the Trade Manager for all tasking and delivery, with functional guidance for Contractual matters.
Liaising with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Operations team to confirm the specification and urgency of need for Fabrication/Outfit material requirements.
Liaising with Estimating Team and appointed trade leads for capital spends.
Providing technical input and Trade knowledge to the procurement process.
Managing Departments’ stock holdings.
Managing trade specialist tools, ensuring they remain in calibration.
Suitably experienced, but training available to right candidate
Motivated and trustworthy self-starter.
Competent with MS suite of applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and the Harbour business management system).
Assist Project Engineer with admin support and training
