Project Engineer (Joinery)
Due to a strong order book of upcoming luxury super yacht refits, we are looking to employ a Project Engineer to join our Joinery team.
The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of exciting projects including the upcoming refit of a 55-meter superyacht. You will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing and installation and coordinating materials supply and contractors on any given project.
The role as Joinery Project Engineer will give great opportunity to gain experience working on:
- Project resource planning
- Budget monitoring and cost forecasting
- Coordination with Project Management and Trade Managers to successfully deliver manufacturing programmes within global project milestones
- Inter-trade manufacturing coordination with relevant technical design teams
About You
- Good personable skills, being able to work well with clients, contractors and internal project teams
- You will be of a practical mindset, with a good understanding of joinery construction
- Organized and a proactive problem solver
- Have experience with AutoCAD and preferable but not essential 3D draughting software with the addition of Microsoft 365 suite
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the supply of production manufacturing information to production trade teams
- Materials quantifying and order scheduling
- Responsibility for the targets and agreed budgets for the trade man hours
To sequence plan manufacturing and installation activities in line with project global planning
