Materials Co-Ordinator
The role involves:
• Provide the department leads for the sourcing and pricing of trade related procurement, to ensure timely delivery of materials and obtain best value for money.
• Report to the Trade Manager for all tasking and delivery, with functional guidance for contractual matters from the Senior Purchaser.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Project Engineers and Operations team to confirm the specification and urgency of need for trade material requirements.
• Liaise with Estimating team and appointed trade leads for capital spends.
• Provide technical input and trade knowledge to the procurement process.
• Manage departments’ stock holdings.
• Manage trade specialist tools, ensuring they remain in calibration.
Key requirements:
• Suitably experienced.
• Motivated and trustworthy self-starter.
• Competent with MS suite of applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and the Harbour business management system.
