Project management

High levels of service and your complete peace of mind are very important to us – so we appoint a dedicated project manager to every new contract from the outset.

Your personal project manager will be on hand to provide you with a single point of contact within Pendennis. It is their job to make sure everyone within the business is aware of your requirements and is working towards them as well as reporting back to you with up to date information on the status of your project.

Charlie Ross

Charlie Ross BEng. MSc.
Charlie joined the Pendennis Team in 2006 as a Project Manager. Since graduating as a Naval Architect from Southampton University he has spent the majority of his time working as a Marine Surveyor for Lloyd’s Register both in the UK and abroad. Charlie is currently working within the Refit Section of the company, to date he has currently managed refits on M/Y Alta, Shiloh and Trading Network.


Niels Van Dinthers

Niels Van Dinther
Niels joined the team in October 2002 as a Joinery Supervisor then in 2004 he progressed into role of Refit Project Manager. He has previously managed refits on Mamamouchi; Il Odyssey; Margaret Ann; Infatuation; Windrose; Trading Network; Celtic Spirit; Catalyst; Fair Lady and Aurora. Niels is currently working on a 55 Metre New Build Project.


Andy Rudgley MAPM.
Andy has been involved in shipbuilding and repair, in various capacities for thirty years working in various parts of the world including Europe, China, South Africa, Egypt, USA and Canada. Returning to the UK in 2000 he worked on a new build gas turbine powered motor yacht with DML for several years, before joining Pendennis in September 2007 after working alongside the organisation as the owners representative on the refit and conversion of ElisabethF. He is now the project manager on the refit of a 48m motor yacht project.


Mark Hampton
Mark has been involved in the yachting industry from a young age and estimates that he has amassed in excess of 80,000 nautical miles. He has held many roles within the industry including Yacht Captain, Project Manager and Owners Representative. He joined Pendennis in July 2007 and has already helped to managed refits on Hyperion, Cophiue and Charlatan.


Roeland Vroon
Roeland joined the Pendennis team in February 2007 as an assistant Facilities Manager. He has been sailing since he was 8 years old and has a vast experience in inshore and offshore racing and boat & race management. Before he joined Pendennis he worked 2 years as a yacht skipper. Since joining the company he progressed into the role of Refit Project Manager and managed the refit of AlyeParusa/Trading Network. He is currently managing the refit on the 34 metre Sailing Yacht ‘Unfurled.’


Tristan Jones

Tristan Jones:
Tristan started the company as an apprentice in 1998, within the Joinery Department, whilst completing his degree in Furniture Design he took on a number of roles throughout the company which include Marketing Assistant, Estimator and CAD Technician. To date he has currently managed refits on Opium, Kiring, Zephyr and has now taken over the refit management on a 31.35 metre Motor Yacht – ‘La Reina Del Mar.’


Tyrone Harvey

Tyrone Harvey
In 1989 when the company formed Tyrone joined as a Fabricator, he moved into his current role as Project Manager approximately 14 years ago. He has worked on some of our most prestigious projects including the New Builds – Beagle II; Mamamouchi; Wally B; Beagle V and Boo Too. Tyrone also has a list of Refit Projects which he has managed they include: Kialoa V; Golden Opus; Boo Too; Narrida; Antarctica; Anakena (Phase 1); Christine; Monaco; Lazy Jack; Anakena (Phase 2). He is currently working on a 53 Metre Motor Yacht Refit Project, currently known as Avante IV.
