Terence joined us in May 2007. He is a master mariner having spent 10 years at sea. Terence is now a successful businessman in the South West and still holds a passion for sailing.
Mike is a qualified Naval Architect, who, after graduating from Southampton University, worked with Vosper Thornycroft for eight years before joining Pendennis in 1989. Along with Henk Wiekens, Mike led the management buyout in 1994 and both have been at the helm ever since.
Henk is a time served engineer who has managed his own yacht building companies in Holland and New Zealand for 12 years before being asked to join Pendennis in 1988.
Ian is a qualified Chartered Accountant who joined Pendennis in 2006 having spent nine years in Corporate Services, as well as Group Finance roles in both the aviation and UK construction industries.
Toby joined the team in August 2007 from the British Marine Federation (BMF) where he directed the International Development Programme. At Pendennis he is responsible for securing refit and new build projects as well as the international marketing of the yard. Toby is the Vice Chairman of the Superyacht UK Committee and is a member of the Superyacht Builder's Association. He became a director in May 2009.
Bruce Robertson is a respected local businessman in charge of a successful family owned retail business based in the South West and Wales.
After several years as our Company Secretary and Finance Director Tony retired in 2006, becoming a Non Executive Director on our board. Previous to this he had worked at KPMG and was instrumental in the organisation of the management buy-out.
