Pendennis Worldclass Superyachts
We offer support to an ever growing number of yachts around the world, whether their a Pendennis yacht or simply looking for independent support & advice.
Since her launch in 2002 BooToo has been a valued client of our International Yacht Support Service. The most notable work we have recently carried out has been to support the yacht and her Owner on a one year circumnavigation of Africa. During this period we were called upon to provide emergency repair work in East Africa, engineering cover to allow the yacht to honour a charter and continued parts supply.
Following an extensive refit in 2004, the Owner of Enterprise took the decision to use our trades people once again for emergency work on his yacht before commencing a family cruise. At short notice a team of four were despatched to the Maldives to replace eleven air handlers on board the yacht whilst at anchor over a three and a half week period. This involved the equipment, tools and other supplies being prepared in the UK and then shipped out to the Maldives.
Following her launch in 1999 we have remained in close contact with Rebecca, supplying parts and equipment to her wherever she has been in the world. In addition we have also provided labour to the yacht during extended periods of refit including joiners, electricians and engineers. Finally, a number of years after her launch we received a request from the Owner to rebuild the library on board, this was done whilst the yacht was in the States.
Following the Owner's decision to refit his yacht ‘Sea Shuttle' in Antigua, Pendennis were approached to oversee and manage the engineering part of the refit. A project engineer was assigned to this role and with a combination of distance management from our base in the UK and extended periods onboard the yacht, we were able to complete her refit to the Owner's requirements. Work carried out included the installation of new generators and an exhaust system and maintenance on the hydraulic systems.
At the beginning of 2009, the Captain of Tugatsu approached Pendennis to carry out some engineering work on board the yacht in San Remo, Italy. He had been part of the build crew of MITseaAH and was aware of the skilled trades we had in-house. A new set of crew stairs and a Lloyds approved hatch were manufactured here on site at Pendennis before two fabricator/welders were despatched down to Italy with the items to fit on site.
